Kodak Zi8 Test + Review.

So I really wanted to get a FlipCam, or at least something like it, that I could pull out at any moment and shoot HD video. After doing a little bit of research, I found that the Kodak Zi8 was a better option for me. At the time I bought it, Flip only offered 720p video and the Zi8 had full 1080p. The Zi8 also had a microphone input, and used removable SD cards for memory, so there were fewer recording limits. Of course, the Zi8 had a few pitfalls as well, one of which was a rechargeable battery instead of easy-to-replace AA batteries.

So yeah, I walked about NYC for a bit to give the Zi8 a spin, and it seems to be a pretty solid unit. You can check out my full written review on the Vimeo page.
