NBC - The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.
I jumped at the opportunity to catch The Pains of Being Pure at Heart at such a small venue, in this case Cake Shop. They’re rather popular now, so you’re really only going to catch them at places like Webster Hall, which is just not the most enjoyable concert-going experience. Cake Shop was a fitting location for their shoegaze-ridden sound. This piece was featured on Taxi TV throughout NYC, NBC’s NY Nonstop channel and NBC Channel 4.
